What is Huntington's

Huntington's disease (HD) is an

inherited degenerative neurological disease affecting areas in the brain which are responsible for motor movement control, coordination, cognition, personality and emotions.  While there is no cure for HD at present, one of the best ways to deal with anxiety or fear is to be informed.

About Us

Huntington's SA & NT Inc was formed out of a community need for an organisation to identify and address the unmet needs of those people in South Australia and Northern Territory with Huntington's disease or impacted by Huntington's disease. It is our aim to provide awareness of HD, supports and services, advocacy, and education for both the HD and wider Community.
