Huntington’s disease (HD) is a degenerative neurological disease which is unique to each person in the way it presents and progresses.
The Association provides a range of education sessions for organisations for a fee to ensure people with HD are provided with the right care to give them a great quality of life throughout their HD journey.
Our education sessions can be face-to-face or online via video conference.
From residential and care providers through to other private, community or government services, we can provide tailored sessions to meet your needs.
Our Education sessions generally fall within 3 categories:
Please note that funding is available from an individual's NDIS Plan for education to support their particular needs and care. If you are experiencing difficulties with this, we can help!
If you provide care or services or have significant and perhaps problematic interactions with people with HD, or you are just looking to enhance your services, your organisation might benefit from a session.
Ring us on 0424 062 121 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to see what we can do for you to help your organisation better support the HD community.
